These terms outline the rules, responsibilities, and conditions that apply when using CampusAI. By accessing or using the service, you agree to follow them.

Agreement

These Terms govern access to and use of CampusAI. If using CampusAI through a university's license, the university's policies and the University AI–university contract also apply.

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.

AI-generated content

CampusAI uses large language models. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for evaluating output before acting on it.

Intellectual property

Data and privacy

Governed by the Privacy Policy and (where applicable) by FERPA and the customer contract.

Service availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Status is communicated through status.campusai.app.

Wellness and crisis resources

CampusAI may surface wellness information and hardcoded crisis resources. These are not a substitute for professional care. If you are in crisis, contact 988 or your local emergency number.

Disclaimer

CampusAI is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, University AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify University AI from claims arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of CampusAI.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Where a customer university's contract specifies a governing law, that contract controls for that tenant.

Changes

Material changes are communicated to tenant administrators.
